team

Vanessa graduated as a veterinarian from Utrecht University in 2001. After moving to Texas, she also obtained her American veterinary licence and worked there for many years at an animal hospital. After returning to the Netherlands, she founded Dierenkliniek Capelle: a modern practice where quality, personal attention and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do.

As the clinic has grown, Vanessa has taken on more management responsibilities. However, you can regularly find her in the exam room, operating room or dental area.

Simone knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian and graduated from Utrecht University in 2018. She joined Dierenkliniek Capelle in December 2020. Her special interests include internal medicine, ultrasonography and rodents.

Together with veterinary nurse Natasja, she has completed additional training in ultrasonography. Simone enjoys working with you to find the best possible care for your pet.

Dennis has worked as a veterinarian at Dierenkliniek Capelle since March 2026. His areas of interest include ophthalmology, internal medicine, and emergency and critical care. He enjoys solving complex medical problems and supporting pets throughout their recovery. No two days are the same, and that variety is what makes his work so rewarding.

Natasja completed her training as a veterinary technician in 2017 and has worked at Dierenkliniek Capelle ever since. Together with veterinarian Simone, she has completed additional training in ultrasonography. She is also involved in dental care and is responsible for managing the clinic's stock.

You may speak to Natasja on the phone, or meet her at the front desk, in the consultation room or operating room. She is always happy to help you and care for your pet.

Alissa graduated as a veterinary technician in 2017 and went on to gain experience in several veterinary practices. She joined Dierenkliniek Capelle in October 2019. Since then, she has developed expertise in anaesthesia, among other areas.

She also manages the clinic's orders and is always happy to help where needed. You may speak to Alissa on the phone, meet her at the front desk or see her elsewhere in the clinic.

Bonita graduated as a veterinary technician in 2018 and then worked at a dog boarding kennel, which she greatly enjoyed. However, her ambition to work in a veterinary clinic remained. She joined the Dierenkliniek Capelle team in April 2021.

She has a special interest in recovery, hospitalisation, dentistry and anaesthesia. Bonita looks after the animals staying at our clinic with the care and attention they need.

Kirsten graduated as a veterinary technician in early 2025 and began her career at Dierenkliniek Capelle. She joined the team with great enthusiasm and enjoys putting her knowledge into practice every day.

No two days are the same, and it is exactly this variety that makes her work both enjoyable and educational. You may meet Kirsten at the front desk, during consultations or in other areas of the clinic.
