Payment Terms
Version: May 2026
At Dierenkliniek Capelle, we believe clear agreements are important. That is why we explain below how payment for our care, treatments and products works.
Where possible, we discuss the expected costs with you in advance. This way, you have a better idea of what to expect.
1. Payment
Payment is due immediately after the consultation, treatment or procedure. You can pay in cash or by debit card.
Payment by invoice is only possible if this has been agreed with us in advance. In that case, a payment term of 14 days from the invoice date applies.
When paying by invoice, administration costs may be charged.
2. Advance payment
In some cases, we may ask for an advance payment. This may be necessary, for example, when your pet stays with us for a longer period or when we perform a costly operation or treatment.
If an advance payment is required, we will clearly discuss this with you beforehand.
3. Administration orders (bewindvoering)
Payment through an administrator (bewindvoerder) is only possible if we have made a written agreement about this with your administrator in advance.
Without this written agreement, you remain personally responsible for paying the invoice.
4. Debt collection
If an invoice is not paid within the agreed term, we will first send a payment reminder.
If payment is still not received, we may transfer the claim to a collection agency. The additional costs this involves, such as extrajudicial collection costs and interest, may be charged to you, insofar as legally permitted.
5. Cost estimate
You can request a cost estimate for a treatment or operation in advance. We provide this estimate as carefully as possible, based on the information known at that time.
A cost estimate is always subject to change. Due to complications, additional examinations, unforeseen circumstances or price changes, the actual costs may differ from the estimate.
6. Questions about costs or invoices
Do you have questions about an invoice or about the expected costs of a treatment? Please feel free to contact us.
We are happy to explain clearly what the costs consist of. Where possible, we will also help you find the care that best suits your pet.
